Decent product but significant limitations in rural areas. I live in a village where there aren't many apple devices around, so position updates are very sporadic — sometimes 30-40 minutes between each ping. In the city it works fine, but for anyone living in the countryside, that's a real limitation of the find my system (not the product itself). Battery lasts about 27 hours. Solid construction, waterproof confirmed after testing in rain.
Generally a good product. Find my app integration is simple and i was able to start using it right away. It's slightly large for my cat (4kg), but she doesn't seem to mind it on her collar. The waterproof function worked fine even when i accidentally dropped it in a wash basin. My reason for 4 stars: location updates become slow in areas where there aren't many apple devices nearby, and actual battery life is about 26-28 hours versus the stated 30 hours. But for this price, i'm quite satisfied.
Survived rain, mud, my dog rolling in dirt, and one accidental drop into a puddle. Water resistance is legit. The black plastic shell looks a bit plain but is tough. The collar clip is secure but i added a small zip-tie as backup after reading another review about it coming loose.
In urban/suburban areas with lots of apple devices around, location is within 10-20m. My dog's position updates every 3-5 minutes on average. In my friend's rural property, updates dropped to every 15-30 min. Still usable but less precise. Not the device's fault — it's how find my network works.
Dead simple. Literally held it next to my iphone 17, tapped add in find my, done in 15 seconds. No separate app needed, no account creation, no subscription fees. This is the killer feature — it piggybacks on apple's entire find my network for free.
Finally some peace of mind! My golden retriever loves to sprint out of the yard when the gate's left open, and this tracker has been a lifesaver twice already. Setup was literally 30 seconds — just hold it near my iphone, tap "add" in find my, and it popped up immediately. Location accuracy is impressive, within about 10-15 meters in my neighborhood. Battery lasts roughly 32 hours on a full charge, which is enough for daily use — i just plug it in overnight. The black unit looks sleek on his collar, and the build quality feels solid. Totally worth the $17.
Bought two — pink for my daughter's cat and black for our labrador. Both work really well with the find my app! Location accuracy is surprising for the price. My daughter loves the pink color, it matches the cat's collar perfectly. The movement alert notifies me when the dog leaves the yard. Swaybetterthanpaying30+ per month for other trackers. Good tracker, does what it says for the most part. Connected to find my without any hassle, and i can track my french bulldog around the neighborhood easily. The pink color is cute and my dog doesn't seem bothered wearing it. Two small gripes: (1) it's slightly bulky for a small dog — about the size of a large coin, which is noticeable on an 8kg pet; (2) battery only goes ~28-30 hours, not quite the "30+" claimed, and there's no low-battery warning until it's almost dead. Would still buy again though — the peace of mind is worth it.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden! Our cat is an outdoor explorer and sometimes disappears for hours. Since attaching this tracker (blue color — looks nice! ), i can see exactly where she is on the find my map. The movement alert notification is great — i get a ping on my phone whenever she leaves our garden area. Waterproof claim is real — she came home soaking wet from rain twice and the device still works perfectly. Only wish the battery lasted a bit longer, but charging every other day is manageable. 4.8 stars from me, rounded up to 5.

I can't find the device via Bluetooth. I've tried several apps and none of them worked.
Doesn’t work in countryside. probably because there is not a lot of houses and phones that can connect to. it works as long as i stand with my phone near it.
